Program to choose on Sunday:
Football tournament Bunt kickt gut
Bunt kickt gut (colourful plays well) is an intercultural streetsoccer league where Swiss people and migrants play together. It is organised by the organisation infoklick.ch that promotes and supports projects initiated by young people who intend to play an active role in society.
During this football tournament you will have the opportunity to experience a game aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue and mutual respect. You will play in teams of four with young migrants who play in the Bunt kickt gut football league. This enables you to get in contact directly with them and to see how the project buntkicktgut, which is also presented during the workshops, functions in reality.
Teach with Beraber Bern
Beraber is a student initiative that offers private lessons and coaching to children and young adults with migration backgrounds. The aim of Beraber's work is to address specific learning difficulties which those children and young adults may face and to work together with them towards a successful school career.
The project was originally developed by students in Basel who themselves have different origins. In the meanwhile the project has known such remarkable success, that there is now also a group active in Zürich and since last year, a young and dynamic team has been developing the project in Bern.
Beraber will introduce you to their unique concept and show you what is needed to develop a similar project in your own home town. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to meet students using their service.
