Development Aid

Nowadays, the notion of development aid is omnipresent. Everyday we get confronted with bad news which can be discouraging. The aim of the foundation Earth Focus is to empower youth to step up and actively create a more sustainable world. Earth Focus provides a platform to encourage youth to express their views to the environment and solution to ecological problems and serves as a voice to promote these views to other youth as well as to the public. The vision is to build and protect a better world, sustainable and more peaceful for the future children.

We want to reach this vision by

• Providing a platform and a voice

• Promote and share an understanding of the environment and  of sustainable development

• Encourage the feeling that the youth has an important role to play.

Earth Focus wants to provide people throughout the world with a forum for discussions and serve as a catalyst for action.

They believe that the understanding of global issues provides a basis for opinion and the ability to take action. The purpose of this project is, therefore, to encourage and assist young people to become empowered and participate assertively in educational, humanitarian, environmental and citizenship-related debates.

The participants can get active by creating

• Green maps which emphasize local initiatives related to sustainable development and incite people to adopt a more responsible behavior

• A magazine which is filled with contributions from young people around the world.

• Lively debates and roundtables

The goal is to show the need for action and sustainable development and to give you the platform to participate and create your own solutions.
