Eau’Tour du Lac Léman and Guerilla Jardinière got to the next level by managing their own workshops during actNOW! and presenting their engagement opportunities. And they did it like old hands very sovereign and with plenty of joy.

cewas is the international training center for company founders with sustainable ideas. Starting in September 2013, cewas offers the third Start-Up Programm for graduated students who want to found their own company in the subject area Water/Ressources. During the one-year-programm the young entrpreneurs will be supported in the creation of their company through trainings, business coaching and mentoring by international experts as well as through an international network.

The next cewas Start-Up Programm starts the  9th September 2013 and lasts till August 2014. Application deadline ist he 21th June 2013.

Sunday, 5^th May at 15h, Yoko organizes a workshop (free, 60-90min) on composting with earthworms. The treated subjects allow you to install your “vermicomposteur” at your place afterwards, if you would like to :

1. Earthworms, the myths (if I cut it in two, will there be two earthworms?) and the reality (their sexuality, their culinary preferences and their role at the planet)
2. Everything you need to know to well vermicomposter
3. A presentation of examples of vermicomposteurs (to fabricate on your own or to buy)

And their will be a meeting with the earthworms of your vermicomposteur.

actNOW! is the event for all desktop-warriors, hater players, backseat drivers and wisenheimers. It’s your opportunity to put your money where your mouth is and we know you must be burning for it. Come and meet 10 different organizations, find out how you can help them, work with them on challenges, team up with other burners just like you and get down and dirty! You’re not a desktop-warrior any longer? Fair enough, but please spread the word!

You’ve already gotten down and dirty? You’ve been to a euforia event and you’re seriously damaged ever since? So comeBACK! it’s your opportunity to – guess what – get even downer and even dirtier… Meet up with former imp!act participants of different generations and find out how you can boost your involvement! If in your own project, in an organization or in a different way doesn’t matter – you all have valuable experiences to share and everybody can learn from everybody.

So we have these events ante portas and of course it’s not easy. We’re glad to co-organize them, in Lausanne, with unipoly, and in Zurich with project21. There’s not a lot of time to write a newsletter, but still we got a couple of sweet engagement opportunities lined up for you. And of course, the ladies from STEP into action never sleep. They’re quietly working towards revolutionizing the Swiss educational system. Find out more here.

This year’s actNOW! will be combined with a parallel program called comeBACK!, exclusively designed for all former imp!act and ELAYS participants. The program takes place in Lausanne, on March 16, and in Zurich, on March 23.

Regardless of how you’ve gotten engaged ever since participating in a euforia event, comeBACK! has been specifically designed for you. A great team of facilitators, many of which have themselves participated in a euforia event, set up a program which will surprise you!

Learn new skills during the workshops, exchange and update with your colleagues, learn from each other, get inputs on personal or project-related challenges, discover the news of the CHANGEmakers network and pass a wonderful time with colleagues, friends and new people – that’s comeBACK!
